The Colorado Avalanche pulled off a spectacular 6-4 victory against the Seattle Kraken in an electrifying match at the Climate Pledge Arena. The win handed the Avalanche a 2-1 series lead and earned them a historic milestone as the first team ever to secure a playoff victory at the Kraken's home turf.
Despite the absence of a key player, the Avalanche demonstrated their tenacity and grit, rising to the challenge posed by the Kraken. Valerie Nichushkin, a forward for the Colorado team, was conspicuously missing from the lineup. Sources revealed that he had left the team hotel accompanied by security in the middle of the night, raising questions about his availability for future games and his well-being as a whole.
Things floating around twitter re: Nichushkin
- Could be an indefinite leave but he could be back for Game 4
- Apparently left team hotel for the Airport with a security team
- No longer in Seattle
- Agent nor team will explain further
Very strange, hope everything is ok
