In a recent interview, former Edmonton Oilers forward Dylan Holloway goes into detail about his former captain's personality in the locker room.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, In a recent interview with NHL reporter Andy Strickland, Holloway raved about playing with McDavid in every aspect.

Being blown away by his talent is a real thing for players with him, but Holloway also stressed what a great locker room leader he is.

»He definitely has a presence. I think he'll go down as the most skilled player of all time, maybe the best player of all time. He's so good, but at the same time he likes when the boys kinda give it to him, he likes being one of the boys. He definitely doesn't portray his personality in the media as he does within the dressing room.»

Although Connor McDavid is often criticized for being a robot during his interviews, Former Oilers forward Dylan Holloway emphasizes that he's far from the personality reflected in the media.

Hockey banter, or "chirping" as the players call it, is a huge part of hockey culture. According to Holloway, McDavid embraces that part of the game, making it clear the the captain indulges in some good ol' fashion locker room teasing.

Holloway said that he and his Oiler teammates would be continually blown away by what McDavid is capable of on the ice. He even went as far to say that McDavid could be the most skilled player of all time, and surpass Wayne Gretzky as the best player ever.

The Edmonton Oilers will look to break out of their offensive slump when they take on a red hot Vancouver Canucks team tonight.
