LA Law Firm Makes a Commercial to Roast The Edmonton Oilers

The Pacific Division standings show the Edmonton Oilers ranked just below the Los Angeles Kings. Recently, the Kings clinched a berth against the Vancouver Canucks, and in a clever marketing move, one of their partners decided to poke fun at the Oilers and their players.

The Simon Law Firm, a partner of the LA Kings, created an advertisement in a local Facebook group using NHL '94 graphics to tease Connor McDavid (McMichael in the ad) and Brett Kulak while they were in the penalty box.

The ad's tongue-in-cheek reference to the infamous 2 Girls 1 Cup video, except with McDavid and Kulak, who have yet to win a cup, is humorous and shows great effort. This ad is sure to provoke a response from the Oilers, even though the playoffs haven't started yet.
