The Ben Stelter Foundation has made a strategic partnership with The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF), and they have announced they have raised over $100 million dollars in funds.

Ben Stelter stole the hearts of Oil Country and NHL enthusiast around the league. Ben Stelter became an inspiration for Connor McDavid, the Edmonton Oilers and the entire hockey community while he battled glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. His postgame victory phrase of «Play 'La Bamba,' baby,» became a rallying cry for Oilers fans everywhere.

Last year, the theme of the playoffs was "Win it for Ben" and the Oilers came just 2 goals shy of winning the Stanley Cup in his honour. Nonetheless, his Dad founded the Ben Stelter Foundation, an organization committed to raising money for kids dealing with cancer. In a breakthrough announcement, The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) in partnership with the Ben Stelter Foundation have raised over $100 million dollars in funding.

"The Ben Stelter Foundation continues to make incredible strides forward, announcing our plans to bring Proton Beam Therapy to Canada for the first time," said Mike Stelter, Executive Director of the Ben Stelter Foundation. "We would like to congratulate the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation for raising $100 Million for Canadian Charities. We are very grateful to the Edmonton Oilers, Oil Country and the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, for their continued unwavering support. Together, we are making a difference for pediatric cancer."

Oil Country continues to pay respects to their beloved mascot and biggest fan, little Ben Stelter.
