As per Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, McDavid has officially been ruled out for the next two games while he leaves the team's road trip to return back to Edmonton for medical testing. More information is expected to become available in the next 24 hours. According to the 2 Mutts Hockey Podcast however, McDavid has already called in his own personal trainers for help.
Frank Seravalli recently indicated that Connor McDavid's injury will likely keep him out for a minimum of eight games, but the Oilers have confirmed Connor McDavid will be sidelined for the remainder of the Oilers road trip.
As for Connor McDavid, he has hired the best medical staff money can buy. Although the official injury is yet to be disclosed by the Edmonton Oilers, sources are speculating that a high ankle sprain is the likely culprit. Hopefully the full extent of his injury is less serious than expected as the struggling Oilers will need their captain back on the ice as soon as possible.
