Breaking news in Oil Country as Evander Kane's fiancé Mara Teigen has just made a special announcement via Instagram, revealing that she and Evander are expecting.

According to Blade of Steel, Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane is really celebrating the good news just one month after announcing he is getting married to model Mara Teigen. The 33-year-old NHL star's girlfriend took to her Instagram account to break the great news by posting a video of the couple announcing they're expecting a child. The images show Kane and Teigen just about bursting with joy as the happy couple embarks on the next stage of their lives.

The couple recently announced their engagement on social media, but now, they are expecting a child which is truly an incredible blessing.

Kane and Teigen already have two kids together, including a son named Iverson and another son named Hendrix. But now the Oilers forward will be welcoming a new member of their family to the world.

This is a second marriage for Kane, who previously married Anna Kane, with whom he has a daughter named Kensington. The two divorced in 2020. Though his personal life has since changed, Kane has remained committed to being a dad to his three children and has balanced his professional career with fatherhood. He will now be welcoming his fourth child.

Evander Kane recently had a surgery done to repair a sports hernia, including torn muscles in his abdomen. Although Evander Kane isn't expected to make his return to the ice until the spring, this wonderful news will undoubtedly make his recovery a little easier.
