Now in his 14th season with the Edmonton Oilers, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has scored an impressive 251 goals and 449 assists in 883 regular-season games in the NHL and has averaged 0.79 points per game throughout his career. His scoring touch was at its peak last season, when he recorded his first career 100-point season and finished with 104 points at the end of the year. However, he had a dip in his production in the 2023-24 season making only 67 points over 80 games.
As he begin on the 2024-25 campaign, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has one assist through the first two games and fans are hopeful for a bounce-back year. His contributions will be extremely important for the Edmonton Oilers who have high expectations this season.
On the franchise's all-time lists Ryan Nugent-Hopkins ranks third in games played, behind only Ryan Smyth (971 games) and Kevin Lowe (1,037 games). He is also eighth in goals and assists and seventh in points. It's making him one of three active players in the top ten for this stats. As the Oilers aim for success this year, they will need to rely on Nugent-Hopkins to return to his old form of 2022.
