Edmonton Oilers insider Tony Brar just dropped a massive teaser ahead of the young stars classic.
From September 13th to 16th, The Young Stars classic will be a four-team tournament featuring the top prospects from the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Winnipeg Jets organizations in Penticton, BC.
Clattenburg - O'Reilly - Savoie
Petrov - Wakely - Stefan
Although above mentioned are listed as speculative, Tony Brar believes that these are the projected top 6 pairings poised to lead the charge against the Vancouver Canucks prospects.
Having Savoie and O'Reilly on the same line could potentially be the most electrifying first line in the entire tournament. Both players are 1st round draft picks with NHL level calibre.
O'Reilly has been lights out for the OHL's London Knights during the preseason, and Matthew Savoie is arguably the Oilers most dynamic prospect in their farm system.
