John Tavares opens up about Johnny Gaudreau's passing
Recently, John Tavares, the former captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs broke his silence on X (formally known as twitter) about the recent passing of Johnny Gaudreau.
John Tavares has been like most of the other Leafs who have shared images and videos of the Gaudreaus in the wake of the tragedy. But on Sunday night, Tavares posted a message on his X account.
Johnny and his brother Matthew were struck by a vehicle near their home in Salem County, New Jersey, on Thursday night. Unfortunately, both Johnny and Matthew passed away as a result of the accident.
The death of Johnny Gaudreau will continue to be a focal point for the NHL, and the world for years to come. This was an extremely classy move by the former leafs captain who was vulnerable enough to open up about his personal feeling towards the tragedy.
