The offseason is finally over for the Edmonton Oilers
Breaking news in Oil Country as insider Tom Gazzola posted a video on X (formally known as twitter) of the Oilers hitting the ice for the first time.
This is massive news for Oilers enthusiasts as this breaking information from Tom Gazzola confirms the offseason is finally over.
Gazzola indicates that the players included during this preason skate comprised of McDavid, Draisaitl, Nurse, Hyman, Henrique, Ekholm, C.Brown, Arvidsson, Perry, Kulak, S.Skinner, Pickard, Savoie, Stecher, Bouchard, and top prospect Lavoie.
In a last minuet update, Gazzola indicated that Jeff Skinner also joined the boys for the initial run through.
Although Edmonton Journal's David Stappled reported that the annual captain's skate is canceled this year, having the core of the Oilers players coming together for some well needed practice is a positive sign.
The Oilers will be looking to shake off their summer rust ahead of the highly anticipated regular season. The Oilers will be taking on the Winnipeg Jets for their home opener on Wednesday, October 9th, @ 8 PM Mountain time.
