A new video of Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid has surfaced on X (formally known as twitter) shouting at his teammates during game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Connor McDavid has always been known as one of the more quiet leaders in the NHL. During his pre and post game interviews, he typically keeps things pretty cool, rarely showing any emotion at all.

But in this video on X, we see a side of Connor many Oilers enthusiasts have never seen before. During game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, the Oilers were trailing 2-1 with everything on the line. During the intermission, McDavid tried to rally his troops by lighting a fire under the squad's rear end.

"It's the Finals! That's not good enough! Everyone dig in, right now!"

As per Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, It's a direct look into an incredibly tense moment in the Cup Final. The time of which this yelling speech came from McDavid isn't clear yet, but this seems the exact type of energy they could have had heading into the third period of Game 7. McDavid's yelling at the team, but it's all in the goal of motivation and drawing on passion to win the game.

McDavid always has a way of responding to criticism by elevating his game through his career. After being so close to the first Cup win, and clearly after hearing this speech, everyone knows that McDavid and the Oilers are locked in for the upcoming season. Nothing else matters but the Stanley Cup.
