The Montreal Canadiens have had a rough year, as they are in a rebuild, Martin St. Louis had to work with the talent available and multiple injuries.

In an interesting turn of events, a face missing for the majority of this season due to personal issues has returned.

Montreal's Carey Price has returned to the team and will be traveling with the Habs to Toronto tonight.

Price had retired back in January, but he's still on contract with the Habs until 2026 at a $10.5 Million cap hit. Even though he's on the LTIR until his cap hit comes off the books, it looks like Price may not be officially done with the sport of hockey if he's traveling with the team.

He will not ride the pine but will observe an intense rivalry from the press box and while there are no reports of his status with the organization, it could be a one-off just to take in the atmosphere between the Maple Leafs and Canadiens an intense rivalry with a storied history.

Fans of the game of hockey should appreciate his efforts and his level of competition, because he may not be around the ice much longer.

Respect his contributions to the game of hockey and his legendary career, even as a fan of an opposing team.
