Video of a big brawl that erupted after a U18 game is going viral on social medias
Following a U18 game, a player from one team threw a punch at an opposing player's head during the customary handshake line, triggering a chaotic brawl. Players from both teams traded blows, while coaches tried to intervene and bring back order.
Prior to issuing a statement, the league suspended several players and coaches for unsportsmanlike conduct and receiving fighting majors.
An unfortunate incident occurred between two EFHL teams this past weekend. EFHL Officials and staff are working through referees reports provided to ensure all players who participated in the events post game receive the appropriate sanctions. This is not tolerated in the EFHL.
According to the game sheet, penalties were administered appropriately.

It's disheartening to witness the players' absence of sportsmanship and respect towards each other, particularly since we take pleasure in the physicality of the game.
