Major New Development Regarding Evander Kane's injury
Kane has been sidelined since February 17th with an upper-body injury.
According to general manager Ken Holland. Kane could potentially return to the Oilers' lineup as early as next Thursday against the Boston Bruins, and no later than March 14 when the Oilers take on the Ottawa Senators.
His return could prove crucial for the Oilers as they push for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. In only 24 games this season, Kane has registered nine goals and 19 points.
With a current record of 33-21-8, the Oilers are currently sitting in a wild-card position in the Western Conference, and are looking to make a strong push towards the Stanley Cup.
There's no doubt that Kane can help the Oilers in the short run. Let's hope he's back soon.
