During the last OEG watch party, unfortunate events took place, causing chaos among the fans.
Incidents ranged from a serial biter in the audience who caused harm to one fan to altercations with law enforcement and stabbings in the Ice District. As a result, the policy was changed to allow only 18+ individuals to attend future watch parties, in an attempt to limit such incidents.
However, it seems that OEG is once again altering its policy, hoping that fans will act responsibly and treat each other with respect during Sunday's game.
The Oilers need all the support they can get, and fans are being given another chance to support the team and experience camaraderie as they should, especially as Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid make a push to avoid elimination.
Only time will tell if reverting the policy will be a wise decision, but let's hope that all fans can come together safely and enjoy the game.
