The Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings have a history of intense playoff battles, and this year's series is proving to be no different. Both teams have made significant additions to their rosters, making them formidable opponents in the postseason.
Despite holding a 2-goal lead in the game, the Oilers ultimately fell to the Kings 4-3 in overtime after giving up three goals in the third period. Penalties and defensive lapses were the team's downfall, but Connor McDavid remains optimistic, stating that "we expect there will be ups & downs."
The Oilers will need to learn from their mistakes and find a way to win despite heavy penalties if they hope to come out on top in this series. With the dynamic duo of McDavid and Draisaitl leading the charge, the Oilers have come back to beat the Kings before and are capable of doing it again.
