The Edmonton Oilers are on a mission to rectify their previous error of squandering a 3-1 lead in the third period, leading to a 4-3 overtime loss. In their latest game against the LA Kings, they achieved just that by emerging victorious.

However, it cannot be ignored that the officiating played a significant role in the outcome of the match. On Wednesday night, Leon Draisaitl found the back of the net to give the Oilers a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Speaking of Draisaitl, he has already amassed three goals and one assist, tallying up an impressive four points in just four regulation periods. Additionally, the young star recently surpassed the legendary Mario Lemieux of the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second-highest career points per game in NHL history, trailing only behind Wayne Gretzky.

Highest career postseason points per game: NHL history (Minimum 30 GP)
