Nela Lopuanová, a talented up-and-coming female athlete who showcased promising skills during her world championship debut last year, has been impressing audiences with her exceptional performance in more advanced competitions. Regrettably, a video recording has surfaced, showing her falling victim to a vicious blindsided hit from Dominik Halaj in a recent under-16 boys championship match.

Absolutely brutal blindside hit on Nela Lopuanová.
Dominik Halaj received 2 min for charging. Nela seems ok. She's out there in the 3rd. #U16BoysChampionship

During the latter part of the second period, Halaj rushed towards Lopuanová, causing a collision that sent her airborne. Her teammates promptly rushed to her aid, and Halaj received a two-minute minor penalty for his actions. Despite her brave attempt to recover in the third period, Lopuanová was knocked down again and tragically suffered a severe wrist injury within the first five minutes of play.

#ICYMI Here's where the injury occurred.

After that blindside hit, I don't wanna say she was targeted this game, but it sure seemed like it to me.

In the last boys' match Nela Lopusanova suffered a fractured wrist. Treatment time 6 weeks.
Nela copes with it with a smile.
