Jack Eichel Seems Nervous When Asked About Connor McDavid
Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel is having a special season. After spending the bulk of his career with the Buffalo Sabres, he had a bitter ending and divorce due to the Sabres refusing to perform the neck surgery he requested.
However, since his trade to the Golden Knights and surgery during the off-season, Eichel has never looked better, and he is now experiencing his first playoff run.
After getting through round one, Eichel participated in a media scrum where he discussed his views on meeting the Edmonton Oilers and their star player, Connor McDavid. Despite giving a typical hockey-style interview full of euphemisms and lingo, it was evident that Eichel may be feeling a bit anxious about facing the current two best players in the world.
This series promises to have it all - physicality, great play, and scoring prowess, with all the firepower between the two teams. It is sure to be one of the most entertaining series left in the NHL playoffs this season.
The Oilers and the Golden Knights will face off on Wednesday, May 3rd, with the game starting at 9:30 pm.
