The Florida Panthers have emerged victorious over the Toronto Maple Leafs in five games, securing their spot in the Eastern Conference Final.
Toronto Maple Leafs fans are now facing regret for their earlier chant of "We Want Florida," as it did not age well for the Leafs.

Matthew Tkachuk wasted no time addressing the media after the series win. Upon leaving the ice, he further commented on the mistakes made by Leafs fans, stating, "I don't think they want Florida that much anymore. I wasn't hearing many of those after that game, and that might be the best part."
This only adds insult to injury for Toronto Maple Leafs fans worldwide.
It appears that Leafs fans have yet to learn their lesson, as they prematurely believed that this would be their year. Merely winning the first round of the playoffs fueled their expectations that the Stanley Cup was destined to return to Toronto. However, Sergei Bobrovsky and the Panthers had different plans, effectively neutralizing the Leafs' core and sending them home early.
