Sportsnet Broadcast Reveals an Oilers Forward is Battling Through an Injury

Evander Kane has had a few seasons full of ups and downs since joining the Oilers from the San Jose Sharks. Despite legal issues, his first season with the team was quite impactful. However, this season has been different as he suffered a gruesome injury to his wrist caused by a skate. Although he has returned from the injury, his performance has not been up to par.
In the first intermission of game five against the LA Kings, the Sportsnet panel revealed that Kane is battling an injury and will continue to play through it. They seemed to want to say more, but couldn't. The panel even chuckled about the injury as Kane continued to produce results during the first period of the game and scored a goal.
It remains to be seen whether this injury will continue to affect Kane's role or keep him out of the lineup. Meanwhile, the Oilers are preparing for game six in Los Angeles on April 29th, with the start time to be determined. Check out the broadcast video below:
