During last night's game between the Edmonton Oilers and the LA Kings, Zach Hyman scored an unusual goal that helped increase the Oilers' lead. Hyman was battling in front of the net when he took a heavy slap shot from teammate Evan Bouchard right to the face. Surprisingly, the puck ended up in the net and Hyman was credited with the goal.
Despite taking a shot to the chops, Hyman didn't leave the game and didn't even have a scratch on his face. This season, the forward has been a valuable addition to the Oilers, scoring 4 points in 5 playoff games, including a thrilling OT winner and 2 assists. His grit and determination in front of the net have helped the team in their pursuit of the Stanley Cup.
