Edmonton Oilers Announced Two Roster Moves
Recently, the Edmonton Oilers announced a roster move.
They sent down defenseman Philip Broberg and center Devin Shore to the Bakersfield Condors.
It was simply a paper transaction that allows the Oilers to keep the players eligible to play for the Condors in their Calder Cup Playoff push, if needed. Both players were immediately recalled to the NHL.
Broberg and Shore will help the Condors in the AHL playoffs after the NHL season if the Oilers are eliminated from the playoffs.
