Jake Chiasson, an Edmonton Oilers prospect, secured the game-winning goal for the Saskatoon Blades during Game 7 of their first-round playoff series against the Regina Pats. Chiasson, an 18-year-old forward, aided in eliminating Regina, who boasted highly-touted player Connor Bedard, from the WHL playoffs. Throughout the regular season, Chiasson recorded 30 points (10 goals, 20 assists) in 33 games for the Blades. His standout performance in Game 7 bodes well for his future in the sport, as he continues to climb the ranks within the Oilers organization.
