Questionable decision spoils McDavid's Hart Trophy win.
NHL leading scorer Connor McDavid won his third Hart Trophy of the 2022-23 season (MVP). However, he did not receive unanimous votes since one participant did not give him his. His surprising vote instead went to David Pastrnak. McDavid thus moved just one vote away from a second unanimous vote for the Hart Trophy in his career.
Still, McDavid's dominance on the ice was evident, but this individual inexplicably put him in fifth place, tarnishing the unanimous result.
Several experts and supporters of McDavid are very disappointed and ask this mystery voter to explain and justify his choice.
Connor McDavid's unanimous triumph was spoiled by this lack of judgment and this very questionable decision.
