Body cam footage emerges from Tyreek Hill arrest
Although Oilers Insider is usually a hockey only site, you would be remise not to acknowledge the drama that surfaced in the NFL yesterday.
According to the BBC, Mr Hill was pulled over on his way to Hard Rock Stadium in the south Florida city just hours before the opening match of the season.Miami-Dade police say one of the officers involved in the stop has been placed on administrative duties pending an investigation.
The traffic stop happened not far from the team's home stadium, and the bodycam footage begins when Mr Hill's car is pulled over, several officers approach, and one knocks on the window.
Mr Hill then rolls the car window back up. The officer knocks on the window again and orders him to put it down again.
The officers pull the football star out of the car and put him face down on the pavement. And then everything snowballed from there.
Tyreek Hill amazingly showed up to the game, rattled, but game ready. In amazing fashion Tyreek Hill managed to score a touchdown, helping the Miami Dolphins edge out the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-13.
