According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, Holloway was trying to block a routine point shot that instead rode up and made direct contact with his neck. He didn't immediately seem to have a bad reaction, but his condition deteriorated soon on after. Seemingly on the bench, Holloway collapsed on his side and needed to be held up by his teammates.
According to sources, Dylan Holloway is back to feeling 100% better. He described in a recent interview that the puck hit a nerve in his neck, causing the black out to occur.

By the time he got to the bench, he began feeling lightheaded before collapsing. Hilariously though, he had to finish the 2 on 1 break before heading to bench.
The St. Louis Blues will be playing Utah HC tomorrow night, shockingly, Dylan Holloway is expected to be back in the lineup despite being rushed to the hospital - a true testament to how tough this kid is.
The St. Louis Blues can now breathe a huge sigh of relief knowing their young stud made a swift recovery from the incident. Having both Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway out could have been detrimental to their success moving forward.
