With that being said, Edmonton Oilers insider Tony Brar has confirmed the starting roster for tonights highly anticipated matchup.
The starting lineup's are pretty much what you would expect from Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch. Jeff Skinner, who was recently demoted to the Oilers bottom 6 during yesterday's practice finds himself back on his usual line with Viktor Arvidsson and Leon Draisaitl.
Tony Brar also mentions on X (formally known as twitter) that 5 Oilers are set to make their regular season debut tonight. Travis Dermott, Vasily Podkolzin, Ty Emberson, Viktor Arvidsson, and Jeff Skinner will be looking to make an impact early to cement their role in the starting rotation.
The Winnipeg Jets on the other hand are a respectable opponent. They have a two time winning Vezina Trophy winner between the pipes regarding Connor Hellebuyck. Furthermore, their top 6 forward group is also nothing to scoff at either. Mark Scheifelle, Kyle Connor, and Nikolaj Ehlers have always performed well against the Oilers, with new head coach Scott Arniel making his first appearance as the Jets bench boss.
As per the NHL, You can watch the game on Sportsnet at 8:00 pm MT or listen live on the Oilers Radio Network, including 880CHED.
