It's no secret that the Edmonton Oilers have had a slow start to the NHL regular season so far. Going down 0-3 early on is never a good situation, but the Oilers are slowly inch-worming back to a 500 record.
The Edmonton Oilers have a golden opportunity to dig their way out of the losing column tomorrow night, but they face a formidable Dallas Stars team who have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL to start the season.
Currently sitting at 2-3, Oilers head coach Knoblauch admits some of the major issues the team's star players have been struggling with, specifically on the power play.
Knoblauch said he thinks it's because the regulars on it - including the top unit's McDavid, Draisaitl, Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Evan Bouchard - are "out of sync a little bit and maybe over-passing, not getting that good quality shot" while acknowledging Bouchard has been taking shots but opposing teams are doing a "good job" blocking them.
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch said his team and the Stars "have high expectations."
