Kait Flynn, AKA «the good luck charm» has recently opened up about how her life has changed since rising to stardom since the 2024 post season.

During the playoffs last season, Flynn went viral for flashing the Edmonton crowd after a huge victory. The video immediately blew up on X (formally knows as Twitter), gaining plenty of attention from fans across the NHL. Initially, Flynn went radio silent after the video surfaced online, but after a few weeks, she was back and better than ever.

She rose to extreme prominence after doing an interview with the Spittin' Chiclets Podcast, and signed a deal with Playboy Magazine thereafter.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, She recently sat down for an interview with the magazine detailing just how much her life has changed since last spring.

»I've never had just f**k you money. I've not been dumb with the money, I'm not out partying like a rock star or anything. I bought a pickup [with] cash.»

Despite pulling in modelling cash on the side and finding a way to capitalize on her drunken moment, Kait is still working her job in the Oil Sands everyday. Honestly, it's a best case scenario for her to take the positive attention but stay close to her Alberta roots and not fly off the handle too much. Kait has now amassed a social media following above 100,000 all platforms, actually becoming a figure for Oilers fan online.

In all honesty, good for her! She's been making the best out of her situation and has purchased a new pickup truck with her five seconds of fame. Who knows? She might even come back for a glorious return of the Oilers manage to make the post season.
