As the Edmonton Oilers look for a major bounce-back tonight against the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Kris Knoblauch makes some subtle adjustments to the Oilers lineup.

The Edmonton Oilers found themselves getting shutout 3-0 last game at the hands of the New Jersey Devils.

With that being said, the Oilers will be looking for an offensive resurgence as it was officially announced that captain Connor McDavid will be making his highly anticipated return to the ice after being sidelined from an ankle injury.

As per the hockey news, McDavid will center the top line with Jeff Skinner and Zach Hyman flanking him. The second line will include Leon Draisaitl in the middle, with Vasily Podkolzin and Viktor Arvidsson on the wings.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will center the third line, which features Adam Henrique sliding over to the left wing and Connor Brown on the right wing. Derek Ryan, Mattias Janmark, and Corey Perry comprise the team's fourth line.

Jeff Skinner will be getting the nod to play alongside Connor McDavid tonight. Although the Oilers newcomer had a quiet game against the Devils, he's slowly shown some confidence and glimpses of his scoring prowess.

In a pregame interview, Jeff Skinner spoke to the significance of having Connor McDavid back in the lineup:

«It's nice to have him back,» Oilers forward Jeff Skinner said. «Obviously, he's the best player in the world, it's nice to have him back. ... It's big anytime he's in the lineup. We're trying to get on the right track here and string some wins together. It will be nice having him back and he's going to be a big part of it.»
