Connor McDavid was left in discomfort during the morning practice of the Edmonton Oilers after being struck in a sensitive area by a shot from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Although the shot was aimed at the net, it hit the post and ricocheted, striking McDavid's knee with significant force, causing him to fall to one knee in pain.
