The introduction of advertisements in the NHL has triggered multiple changes in the league under the leadership of Gary Bettman. After helmets and jerseys, another precedent has been set this season.
The NHL schedulers are ecstatic because they are on the verge of setting a record tonight. For the first time ever, all 32 teams will be playing in one day in the NHL, as highlighted in this Instagram post:
A total of 16 games will be played, starting at 12:30 pm after the league took Good Friday off. They are looking to make up for lost time and revenue in one big night of high-event hockey.
With many teams looking to clinch spots and avoid elimination, the stakes are incredibly high. Teams such as the Winnipeg Jets, Calgary Flames, and New York Islanders will be looking to keep their post-season hopes alive.
It's a night where fans can pick and choose who they want to watch as they please. Get ready for an exciting night of hockey!
