After the Game one loss in Round two by the Oilers against Vegas Golden Knights, Edmonton's media core was looking for answers and trying to figure out what the next move would be for head coach Jay Woodcroft and his staff.
The Oilers lost 6-4 and spoiled a four-goal performance by one of their superstars Leon Draisaitl. One of the Oilers reporters Jim Matheson explained that he felt that Devin Shore would get a look for the next game as he is well-liked by the players and the crowd.
His other option was Dylan Holloway as an option with the game of Vincent Desharnais taking a turn for the worst and helping lead Vegas to their first win. When this tweet was posted fans began to jump on Matheson and explain how his views do not make sense.
They also went on to explain that both Matheson and longtime Oiler reporter Terry Jones need to be removed as they have archaic thinking and cannot analyze the game in the 21st century.
Oilers fans will need to see what Woodcroft has in store as Game 2 is slated to start on Saturday, May 6th and game time will be at 7:00 PM Eastern.
