Major Complication Prevents Jesse Puljujarvi From Joining Carolina Hurricanes
Edmonton Oilers general manager Ken Holland has been on a mission to free up cap space since last year's NHL draft. The target of his efforts was one specific forward, Jesse Puljujarvi, who had not lived up to the potential expected of him as the fourth overall draft pick.
Holland managed to send Puljujarvi to the Carolina Hurricanes. Despite the successful trade, Puljujarvi encountered immigration visa issues and was unable to join the Hurricanes in time for his first game with the team.
He was seen this morning at the Rogers Place:
Puljujarvi has an appointment on Monday to sort out his work visa and is expected to join the Hurricanes in Montreal on Tuesday.
