The Edmonton Oilers are set to finish up the regular-season soon, with two games against the Denver Avalanche and San Jose Sharks.
With playoffs upcoming, the Oilers will want to collect the last two wins if possible. Which means, they need all the help available.
Daniel Nugent-Bowman reports that Center Ryan McLeod has resumed skating, after being out on injury. As of April 7th, he was placed on LTIR to make space to call up Jason Demers.
McLeod's missed 10 games in 24 days already, so even though this transaction was a formality by the front office, you have to imagine Jay Woodcroft is missing the depth available when McLeod is healthy.
McLeod has played 55 games this season, notching 22 points this season, primarily as a defensive forward in his current role with the Oilers.
The young forward still has plenty of room to grow, but we're hoping he comes back healthy and ready to contribute.
