After the Edmonton Oilers edged out the Nashville Predators for their second win of the season, Connor McDavid set another unique record in the NHL.
According to Caleb Kerney of The Hockey News, Connor McDavid now has the most game winning goals in the NHL. It wasn't as pretty a goal as the one he scored in the Oilers' first game against the Nashville Predators last season, but it stands out for other reasons. Namely, it puts McDavid's name in the record books in a unique way.
Connor McDavid continues to defy the odds, seemingly finding new ways to break records every season. Connor McDavid now leads all modern day hockey players in game winning goals, and NHL fans are eagerly awaiting to see what the captain does next.
Connor McDavid and the rest of the Oilers troops will look to get their record back to 500 as they take on the Dallas Stars for an epic Western Conference final rematch.
