Connor McDavid has always been known to go all out for Halloween. This year, he and his wife, Lauren McDavid, decided to go dressed as "Survivor". McDavid decided to portray the host, Jeffrey Lee Probst, who has been the host of survivor since it's emergence on television back in the year 2000.
I give the Edmonton Oilers captain full marks on his costume. Although it may seem a little bit more simplistic than previous years, everything about his costume is on point. The hat, the clean shaven face, and of course, the hands on the hips. Lauren McDavid also deserves an honourable mention, as she portray's an islander who clearly just got voted off.
As much as I enjoyed Connor McDavid's costume this year, lets take a walk down memory lane to take a glimpse at some of the captains best Halloween costumes yet.
Personally, I think the "Grinch who stole hockey" is the best one so far. Halloween has always been a hot topic for hockey players, and every year, costumes around the NHL seem to get bigger and better. I fully support the Oilers embracing some good ol' fashion Halloween fun. It's a great way for the team to get together, blow off some steam, boost morale, and forget about the intensity of the sport for a night.
