On the latest segment of the Jason Gregor show, former Oilers equipment manager Dwayne Mandrusiak recounts on epic story of the legendary Joey Moss.

According to the NHL, born with Down syndrome, Moss started working for the Oilers as a locker room attendant in the mid-1980s after meeting then-center Wayne Gretzky, and his influence remains through the performance of the Canada national anthem before games, the playing of the Edmonton victory song following wins, and the outdoor plaza.

Die hard Oilers fans will remember that Joey Moss was professional wrestling fanatic. He often challenged players in the dressing room to friendly scraps, and Moss even went as far as going toe-to-toe former heavy weight Georges Laraque.

But in this story by Mandrusiak, he recalls one incident in particular where Joey Brought in his championship wrestling belt to the Oilers dressing room and challenged Mandrusiak's son to a title fight.

Unfortunately for Moss, he ended up losing the match, while simultaneously suffering a nasty rug-burn on his forehead. The Oilers staff had to inform Joey Moss's mother of his little forehead injury, where she immediately laughed and asked:

"Did he lose his belt? Joey wont be happy with that."
