Spittin Chiclets podcast praises Draisaitl signing
The boys over at the Spittin Chiclets podcast have some words about Leon Draisaitl re-signing in Edmonton.
Its no secret that Leon Draisaitl recently signed a monster 8 year contract extension worth $14 MM AAV. With that being said, Ryan Whitney had some big words about the blockbuster news.
"It was one of the greatest days in Oilers history. And does that sound crazy? Yeah, it does because of their 5 Stanley Cups and what they've accomplished. It was the most significant, biggest signing the Edmonton Oilers have ever had. The only superstar to re-sign with the Oilers"
It happened, that means McDavid's gonna sign one next summer, and it's on to Stanley Cup parades in the future, boys.
Ryan Whitney seems to be absolutely thrilled about Draisaitl coming back to Oil Country. He goes on to highlight the significance of this contract extension and what it means to the city of Edmonton.
