Video shows Connor McDavid having an emotional breakdown in locker room

Amazon's Faceoff highly anticipated series debuts today on Prime Video, and Oilers enthusiasts will be getting a raw look at their captain with some amazing behind the scenes footage.

Oilers Insider posted an article a few weeks back showing Connor McDavid screaming his head off in the Oilers locker room after being down in the Stanley Cup Finals. According to ESPN'S Greg Wyshynski, there's a clip of McDavid breaking down in tears after the Cup Final, while Nugent-Hopkins and Draisaitl embrace him.

This emotional video is absolutely gut wrenching to watch for Oilers fans. Connor McDavid went through peaks and valleys to get the Oilers to that point of the season, and having it all come to an abrupt end was hard to watch.

According to Liam McCormick of Oilers Daily, After losing Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, the Oilers were absolutely devastated. Connor McDavid was pulled aside by an NHL executive in the tunnel on his way to the locker room to accept the Conn Smythe Trophy and he declined. As the team leader, McDavid needed to be in the room with his teammates at the time.

And it was an incredibly emotional scene. Zach Hyman delivered a passionate speech about being back there next year, but for the most part the room was silent. Connor McDavid visibly sobbed and was comforted by Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Near the end of the clip, an unknown player tells the camera crew to get out of the locker room immediately.

Oilers fans will be getting a never before seen look at their beloved captain, and all the raw emotion that comes with losing the Stanley Cup final.
