Last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs hosted a Pride Night during their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. However, what caught everyone's attention was the team's decision not to wear Pride jerseys during warmups. Instead, they opted to let their actions speak for themselves.
In a bold move, the Maple Leafs hosted the NHL's first drag show during intermission in the arena's hallway.
This highlights the team's support for the LGBTQ+ community and their willingness to go beyond the typical expressions of allyship.
