Minnesota Wild Marcus Foligno received a five minute major for this knee-on-knee hit on Dallas Radek Faksa.
The knee-on-knee was reviewed to make sure the ruling on the play was correct. It was, as Foligno was removed from the game.
This play could easily be suspension worthy, from the recent suspensions and fines the league has put out in these playoffs. As of right now there is no word on if it will be a suspension, there will be more information tomorrow from NHL Player Safety. If Marcus Foligno is suspended he may have played his last game, as the Wild are now down 3-2 in the series against the Dallas Stars.
Radek Faksa was slow to get up and went to the dressing room to get looked at. However he did return shortly after and played the rest of the game.
