Skinner is very much a goalie who plays to the rhythm of his confidence, and last nights victory should give him a much needed boost in morale. Hopefully the Oilers net minder can string of few more performances like that on the Oilers upcoming road trip.
The Oilers begin a four-game road trip in Detroit on Sunday.
